Joe Sheehan has spent his career bringing people together to solve problems. Growing up as one of seven kids, he learned a thing or two about compromise and working together. That foundation guided his career as an educator, principal, Director of Human Resources, and Superintendent for Sheboygan Area Schools.
As Superintendent, Joe fought for stronger investment in our students and teachers and implemented cutting-edge programming such as College Now, helping more students pursue higher education. He also helped develop a program called Red Raider Manufacturing, a state-of-the-art tech center to prepare students to work locally in manufacturing.
As Executive Director of the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation, he worked to connect local businesses with the resources needed to succeed and create good local jobs. Joe spearheaded workforce
development efforts, leading to an improved climate for business growth.
